Antique Kämmer & Reinhardt 126 Doll by Simon & Halbig — 28”

Large antique German doll by Kämmer & Reinhardt, mold 126,
featuring a high-quality bisque head produced by
Simon & Halbig.

Dating to circa 1900–1910, this doll represents a period widely considered the height of German doll craftsmanship, known for refined modeling and exceptional quality.

Standing at an impressive 28 inches, she has remarkable presence and makes a striking display piece for both collectors and interiors.

Condition

  • Bisque head in excellent condition — free of cracks and chips
  • The lines visible in the photographs are mold seam lines with minor paint accumulation and are not cracks, confirmed by inspection from the interior of the head. It is also quite possible that these lines are minor kiln deformations formed during the firing process, which do not affect the integrity of the bisque or the quality of the head
  • Light traces of adhesive along the wig line from previous attachment
  • Minor stabilized superficial paint loss with no through damage to the bisque
  • Body shows age-related wear and restoration consistent with dolls of this period while remaining sturdy and fully suitable for display

Where Every Doll Carries a Story

About the Creator / Gallery

Meet Yana Lamar

I am Yana Lamar, a collector and restorer who turned a late‑found curiosity for dolls into a carefully curated gallery of antique characters.

I seek dolls that carry quiet stories — France, German, Japan, American - bisque girls, shy companions from attics and trunks — and give them a second life with gentle restoration instead of perfection.

In this online boutique you will not find mass‑market pieces, only a small rotating collection chosen for their personality, history, and the feeling they bring into a room.
