Head & Facial Features

The head is crafted from fine-quality bisque porcelain and features delicate hand-painted facial details, softly blushed cheeks, finely feathered brows, and an open mouth displaying her original upper teeth. Her beautiful brown glass sleep eyes are in excellent working order, giving her a warm and lifelike expression. The ears are pierced, preserving another charming feature typical of dolls from this period.

The bisque head is structurally sound and free of cracks. There is a superficial paint flake on the surface; however, the bisque itself remains intact and unaffected(see picture)

Condition

The bisque head is in outstanding antique condition, free from cracks, hairlines, repairs, or chips. The bisque retains its original matte finish and crisp modeling. She wears a lovely blonde mohair wig that complements her elegant appearance and is perfectly suited to the period.

Her original German jointed composition body is in very good antique condition. The body remains structurally sound, with good articulation and only light age-related wear consistent with a well-preserved antique doll. She stands securely and displays beautifully.

Costume

The doll is presented in a charming period-style ensemble in soft blue and ivory tones, complemented by a matching bonnet, undergarments, stockings, and shoes. The quality of the costume enhances her refined appearance and makes her ready for immediate display in an advanced collection.

About the Creator / Gallery

Meet Yana Lamar

I am Yana Lamar, a collector and restorer who turned a late‑found curiosity for dolls into a carefully curated gallery of antique characters.

I seek dolls that carry quiet stories — France, German, Japan, American - bisque girls, shy companions from attics and trunks — and give them a second life with gentle restoration instead of perfection.

In this online boutique you will not find mass‑market pieces, only a small rotating collection chosen for their personality, history, and the feeling they bring into a room.
