Rare Early Kestner Alphabet Doll M 30” German Bisque Doll with Blue Sleep Eyes

Rare Antique Kestner Alphabet Doll “M” – 30 Inches

This remarkable antique German doll by Kestner belongs to the highly desirable early series of Alphabet Dolls, treasured by collectors for their distinctive character, early production period, and exceptional craftsmanship.

Standing an impressive 30 inches (76 cm) tall, she is a true statement piece with a commanding presence. Her large size and beautiful proportions make her an ideal centerpiece for an advanced antique doll collection or refined interior display.

She features a beautifully modeled bisque head with the sweet and expressive childlike face that has made early Kestner dolls so beloved among collectors. Her large blue sleep eyes, delicately painted features, softly rounded cheeks, and gentle expression create an extraordinary sense of warmth and charm.

The bisque head has been carefully examined and is in outstanding condition, free of cracks, hairlines, chips, or restoration. The sleep-eye mechanism functions properly and operates smoothly.

She wears a lovely natural human hair wig that perfectly complements her delicate features and enhances her authentic antique appearance.

The body is exceptionally well preserved for its age, remaining sturdy, stable, and attractive. Its excellent condition further enhances the overall presentation of this beautiful doll.

She is dressed in a charming costume that completes her presentation and makes her ready for immediate display in a collection, gallery, or elegant interior setting.

Early Kestner Alphabet Dolls are considerably more difficult to find than many later Kestner models and are admired for their quality, rarity, and unmistakable appeal. Their expressive faces and superior craftsmanship have secured their place among the finest examples of German doll making.
