Standing 23 inches (approximately 58 cm) tall, she possesses graceful proportions, a wonderfully expressive face, and the timeless refinement that has made French Jumeau dolls among the most desirable collectibles for over a century.

The back of the head is marked DEP together with the TÊTE JUMEAU stamp, and the doll is mounted on her original Bébé Jumeau Diplôme d’Honneur jointed body with its original factory label still preserved, a highly desirable feature for collectors.

Head & Facial Features

The head is crafted from high-quality bisque porcelain with beautifully hand-painted facial details. Delicate blushed cheeks, finely painted eyebrows and lashes, an open mouth with teeth, and striking fixed blue glass eyes create a warm, lifelike expression full of classic French charm. Her pierced ears still retain delicate earrings, adding another authentic period detail.

Condition

The bisque head is in outstanding antique condition, free of cracks, chips, or restorations. The bisque retains its beautiful original matte surface and crisp modeling. Light traces of previous wig attachment are present along the wig line, a common characteristic of antique dolls that does not affect the integrity or appearance of the bisque.

There are minor manufacturing imperfections above the ears (see photos).She wears a beautiful wig that perfectly complements her elegant presentation.

The original Bébé Jumeau Diplôme d’Honneur jointed body is also in excellent antique condition. It remains structurally sound with good joint movement and only light age-related wear consistent with more than a century of careful preservation. The body retains its original voice box (crier) as well as the original shoulder pull cords, desirable original features that reflect the authenticity and remarkable preservation of the doll. The surviving Bébé Jumeau Diplôme d’Honneur factory label further enhances its collectibility.
