Antique UNIS France 301 Doll, 25″ — Working Flirty Eyes

This expressive antique French doll was produced by UNIS France, mold 301, and dates approximately to the 1920s–1930s. Standing an impressive 25 inches tall, she has a beautiful display presence and a particularly lively expression.

Her bisque head features delicately painted facial details, an open mouth with teeth, and bright blue glass eyes. She is equipped with a fully functional flirty-eye mechanism, allowing the eyes to move smoothly from side to side and giving her face an animated, engaging character.

The back of the head is marked:

UNIS FRANCE
71 / 149 / 301

She wears an elegantly styled dress with lace trim and decorative detailing, complemented by a wig that suits her soft French facial type.

Condition

The bisque head has a crack in the upper back area, clearly shown in the photographs. This is an important condition detail and has been taken into consideration in the price.

Despite the crack, the head retains its form and the doll remains visually attractive. The flirty-eye mechanism is fully operational, with the eyes moving from side to side.

The clothing, wig, body, and other elements may show age-related wear consistent with an antique doll. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.

About the Creator / Gallery

Meet Yana Lamar

I am Yana Lamar, a collector and restorer who turned a late‑found curiosity for dolls into a carefully curated gallery of antique characters.

I seek dolls that carry quiet stories — France, German, Japan, American - bisque girls, shy companions from attics and trunks — and give them a second life with gentle restoration instead of perfection.

In this online boutique you will not find mass‑market pieces, only a small rotating collection chosen for their personality, history, and the feeling they bring into a room.
