This is an antique German doll from the early 20th century, created in the tradition of Kämmer & Reinhardt and Simon & Halbig.

She measures 24 inches (approx. 58 cm) and weighs 3.3 pounds — a large, expressive display piece with a strong presence.

Her head is made of bisque, featuring a clean, refined painting and soft, harmonious facial features. The blue glass sleep eyes function properly and add depth and lifelike expression. The open mouth with teeth enhances her natural charm.

The bisque head is in excellent condition — free of cracks and chips. There is only a tiny, barely noticeable imperfection near the corner of one eye, as well as minimal, almost invisible traces along the edges of the ears. Along the inner rim of the head, there is a minor manufacturing irregularity that does not affect the integrity or quality of the bisque. A small handwritten inventory mark can be seen, typical for pieces that have passed through collections.

She is fitted with a beautiful natural goat hair (mohair) wig, rich in tone and perfectly complementing her delicate features.

The body is composition and jointed, with good, firm stringing. It shows light, age-appropriate wear, while remaining complete — all fingers are present and there are no structural issues.

Her presentation is thoughtfully composed. A soft light-colored dress is paired with a striking red ribbon, creating a balanced and visually engaging look. She holds a small toy, adding warmth and a gentle, childlike presence.

Her undergarments are especially charming, consisting of pantaloons, a skirt, and a slip — carefully chosen and beautifully detailed.

Her red shoes perfectly echo the rich red ribbon, completing the composition with harmony and elegance.

!!!A short atmospheric video with musical accompaniment on YouTube  was created especially for her, allowing you to experience her presence in motion and step briefly into her world.

This is a strong and well-preserved example — a piece that naturally becomes a focal point in a collection or interior.

Where Every Doll Carries a Story

About the Creator / Gallery

Meet Yana Lamar

I am Yana Lamar, a collector and restorer who turned a late‑found curiosity for dolls into a carefully curated gallery of antique characters.

I seek dolls that carry quiet stories — France, German, Japan, American - bisque girls, shy companions from attics and trunks — and give them a second life with gentle restoration instead of perfection.

In this online boutique you will not find mass‑market pieces, only a small rotating collection chosen for their personality, history, and the feeling they bring into a room.
