This is an antique German doll from the early 20th century, created by Kämmer & Reinhardt with a bisque head produced by Simon & Halbig, mold 403, circa 1910–1914. A refined character example, appreciated for its softly modeled features and expressive, lifelike presence.

She measures approximately 23 inches (about 58 cm), offering a balanced and elegant display size.

The bisque head is of high quality, with a smooth surface and finely detailed painting. Her rare grey glass sleep eyes function properly, adding depth and a subtle, emotional expression. The open mouth with teeth enhances her natural, childlike character.

The bisque is in excellent condition — free of cracks. There are only minimal, superficial flakes along the wig line, not affecting the integrity of the bisque.

She is fitted with a wig made of natural human hair, carefully styled and harmonious with her overall appearance.

The original composition body is in good condition, with stable stringing that allows her to hold a confident pose. All fingers are present; one finger has been previously and carefully restored and remains visually unobtrusive. The body shows moderate, age-appropriate wear.

Her outfit is thoughtfully composed in a soft, romantic style that complements her expression. Delicate fabrics and carefully chosen details create a cohesive and elegant look. She holds a medallion featuring a moon and a fairy, adding a subtle, poetic narrative to the composition.

A dedicated musical composition and an atmospheric video were created especially for her and are available on YouTube, offering a deeper sense of her character and allowing her presence to be experienced in motion.

All details and condition aspects are clearly shown in the photographs.

A well-preserved and expressive example of the Kämmer & Reinhardt mold 403, featuring a clean bisque head, rare eye color, and a refined overall presentation — a piece that naturally becomes a distinctive focal point in a collection or interior

Where Every Doll Carries a Story

About the Creator / Gallery

Meet Yana Lamar

I am Yana Lamar, a collector and restorer who turned a late‑found curiosity for dolls into a carefully curated gallery of antique characters.

I seek dolls that carry quiet stories — France, German, Japan, American - bisque girls, shy companions from attics and trunks — and give them a second life with gentle restoration instead of perfection.

In this online boutique you will not find mass‑market pieces, only a small rotating collection chosen for their personality, history, and the feeling they bring into a room.
