Early Antique Kestner E 168 9 Doll, c.1900–1910, Rare Square Teeth, Blue Eyes, Antique Outfit, 22”
This is an antique German doll from the early 20th century, created by Kestner, mold E 168 9 , circa 1900–1910. A refined early example, appreciated for its softly modeled features and harmonious, lifelike expression.
She measures approximately 22 inches (about 56 cm), offering a balanced and elegant display size suitable for both collectors and interior settings.
The bisque head is of high quality, with a smooth surface and finely detailed hand-painted features. Her blue glass sleep eyes function properly, adding depth and natural expression. Of particular note are her finely shaped square-cut teeth — a characteristic detail of earlier production, reflecting a more refined and handcrafted quality.
The bisque is in excellent condition — free of cracks and chips.
She is fitted with a wig made of natural hair, softly framing her face and complementing her delicate expression.
The original composition body is in good condition, with stable stringing that allows her to hold a confident pose. All fingers are present. The body bears a red stamp Germany 336 9, consistent with period production markings, and shows moderate, age-appropriate wear.
Her antique clothing and undergarments are beautifully preserved and thoughtfully coordinated. Delicate fabrics and carefully chosen details create a cohesive and elegant presentation, while her hat and floral accents add a gentle, romantic character.
A dedicated musical composition and an atmospheric video were created especially for her and are available on YouTube, offering a deeper sense of her presence and allowing her character to be experienced in motion.
All details and condition aspects are clearly shown in the photographs.
A well-preserved and aesthetically refined early example of the Kestner 168 mold, distinguished by its clean bisque head, early-style square teeth, and harmonious presentation — a piece that naturally becomes a distinctive focal point in a collection or interior

About the Creator / Gallery
Meet Yana Lamar
I am Yana Lamar, a collector and restorer who turned a late‑found curiosity for dolls into a carefully curated gallery of antique characters.
I seek dolls that carry quiet stories — France, German, Japan, American - bisque girls, shy companions from attics and trunks — and give them a second life with gentle restoration instead of perfection.
In this online boutique you will not find mass‑market pieces, only a small rotating collection chosen for their personality, history, and the feeling they bring into a room.
